Audit
The audit area reviews and audits Medicare cost reports submitted by health care providers for the Medicare program.
The reviews performed by the audit staff rely on financial data and representations of the provider, its accountants and auditors. The audit staff determines cost allocation methods and federal program allowability. In addition to the audit staff, we have specialized staff that reopen cost reports and work on appeal cases.
