In order for our offices to become cost-effective and more efficient, Cahaba Government Benefits (GBA), the Medicare Part B contractor for the states of Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi, has consolidated the monthly online newsletters.
In the past, each state produced a separate newsletter with separate names: the Alabama Medicare B Focus, the Georgia Medicare News and the Mississippi Medicare Provider News.
The new name of the newsletter is the Medicare B Newsline, Important Information from Cahaba Benefit Administrators, the Medicare Part B contractor for the states of Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. The newsletter will continue to inform providers and suppliers of the current national Medicare issues and readers will continue to receive the same accurate, timely, information. Items that are state specific will be notated on special pages in the newsletter.
The Medicare B Newsline files are in html and PDF format unless otherwise noted. PDF format requires that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them.If you do not already have it, you may download Adobe Reader for free and follow the instructions. If you are unable to download our publications or need a hardcopy, please contact your state’s Provider Contact Center toll-free.
