Local Coverage Determination (LCD) – Pathology and Laboratory: Syphilis Testing

Effective August 1, 2008, the Local Coverage Determination (LCD) for Pathology and Laboratory: Syphilis Testing (L1120) has been revised.  Please review the following LCD update:

  • ICD-9 Code 364.00 (Acute and subacute iridocyclitis, unspecified) has been added. The “Sources of Information and Basis for Decision” section has been revised.

Providers are encouraged to review these revisions to ensure compliance, effective August 1, 2008.
