Cahaba GBA processes Medicare Part B claims for Jurisdiction 10 (Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee).
The Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System is available to providers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with allowances for normal claims processing and system mainframe availability, as well as normal IVR and system maintenance.
Our Provider Contact Centers are located in Birmingham, Alabama and Douglasville, Georgia. Customer Service Representatives are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in your time zone.

Provider Contact Center Training
To better serve the Medicare provider community, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) is allowing Provider Contact Centers to conduct customer service training during normal business hours. As the J10 MAC, we will be participating in this program which includes closing our Provider Contact Center for training. Using call distribution data to determine the least possible impact for our customers, we have selected Fridays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. CT; 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. ET. During these closures, the automated system will continue to be available.
