Cahaba GBA processes Medicare Part A claims and cost reports for Jurisdiction 10 (Alabama, Georgia & Tennessee), as well as Out of Jurisdiction Providers (OJPs).
The Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System is available to providers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with allowances for normal claims processing and system mainframe availability, as well as normal IVR and system maintenance. If you are a Rural Health Clinic, Federally Qualified Health Center or End Stage Renal Disease Facility currently located in other states and were previously serviced by Riverbend GBA in Tennessee, please follow the Tennessee prompts on the IVR when calling Cahaba GBA.
Our Provider Contact Centers are located in Birmingham, Alabama and Douglasville, Georgia. Customer Service Representatives are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in your Jurisdiction 10 time zone.

Provider Contact Center Training
To better serve the Medicare provider community, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) is allowing Provider Contact Centers to conduct customer service training during normal business hours. As the J10 MAC, we will be participating in this program which includes closing our Provider Contact Center for training. Using call distribution data to determine the least possible impact for our customers, we have selected Fridays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. CT; 10:30 to 12:30 p.m. ET. During these closures, the automated system will continue to be available.
