Cahaba hosts Ask the Contractor Teleconferences (ACTs) for Part A providers. These teleconferences create the opportunity for providers to ask specific questions concerning billing and Medicare policies and procedures. ACTs also provide a means of sharing information and function as a tool for listening to the provider community. Representatives from various departments throughout Cahaba are available to answer questions and listen to comments.
All calls are toll-free and it is necessary to register to reserve a phone line. We ask that participants observe all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations concerning the privacy of protected health information (PHI). Please check the Calendar of Events for the date and time of the next scheduled teleconference. If unable to participate in a scheduled call, a recording is made available in Cahaba University, our online learning management system. Also, the teleconference minutes are posted to this web page within 30 days of the teleconference.
Thank you for your interest and participation in the Cahaba Medicare Part A program.
