Cahaba Government Benefit Administrators®, LLC (also referred to as Cahaba GBA) administers Medicare health insurance for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). We serve as a Medicare Part A intermediary, Part B carrier, and a Regional Home Health Intermediary (RHHI). We strive to develop and improve our business practices and are committed to offer the highest quality services to the Medicare providers that we serve.
Medicare A Providers As a Medicare Regional Home Health Intermediary (RHHI), we process claims for services provided by home health and hospice providers for 16 states; Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and The District of Columbia. Home Health and Hospice Providers As a Medicare Part A intermediary for Alabama, we process claims for services provided by hospitals, critical access hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rural health clinics, renal dialysis facilities, federally qualified health centers, community mental health center, comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation facility, and outpatient physical therapy providers. Effective May 1, 2008, if you are an Iowa Part A provider, Wisconsin Physicians Service (WPS) is your Medicare Part A intermediary. |
Medicare B Providers As the Medicare Part B carrier for Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi we process claims for physician services, outpatient therapies, podiatry, chiropractic, and optometry services; ambulance services, and other health services and supplies not covered by Medicare Part A.
